I'm not a huge fan of Runaways...though I do have all of the Digests.....

As for Cap...Brubakers Cap run is really good...I've been getting the trades

If I had been thinking ahead I would have bought a copy or two of Cap 25, my store has a bunch of them and this was around 4pm....I flipped through it, read most of it and put it down.....If I'da know they would be hard to find later Ida bought at least one....But I didn't.

i walked into mine.. and i heard cap was sold out.. and i was like... thats odd... comics never sell out by 3pm on weds... at my comic store... so i got home and found out cap was killed... and i was like.. OMG... im on the comic boards nearly every day and didn't hear of this.. why am i just hearing of it now? and how'd they know? dammit i want that issue...

i havent read the first.. but the 2nd was awsome... and most say it was better then the first run.

hein had to wait till he finished Grey's Anatomy... because well.. thats what he gets his real money with... but he finished almost a month ago.. and Jim started the illuminati mini.. and what seems like he might be doing The Initiative as well.... or least he did the cover for it

i bought it since issue #1 of this volume, but i never really liked him as a character. the only other stuff i read of cap was some old tales of suspense and a issue of with falcon in his green costume

That's why Marvel shouldn't be hiring TV/Movie guys to do thier writing...the Readers get screwed....Kevin Smith.


But honestly....I don't see why they can't do it. Now I'll admit I am not a professional writer. But writing is easy, it's getting the ideas that is hard. But once you get the idea writing it down is relatively easy (For me anyway)....If Bendis can write 12 comics a month I'm sure that Heinny can write one comic and one show.

Then again....I guess these guys probably have some sort of life as well..

well if they do, get me one :-P, but i duno.. just because carol said so... doesnt mean i believe it.... i don't trust her much.. she seems like a female tony most of the time..., plus she was pulling out alot of the stops to get jessica to join with her. btw.. anyone think it coulda been punisher who pulled the trigger? or least we are suppose to think it was? after all, he picked up that mask at the end of civil war...

I refuse to believe that they are all Dead.....Anyway, Yukon Jack was there in NA16 but he was not present is this new recap that confirmed them all as dead, so he'll be back. Also Major Mapleleaf's horse Thunder wasn't present at the death.

yeah he's doing the covers. i know it might be awhile longer for YA, the next issue of the illuminati mini isn't coming out till may so i think he's behind. but for me chungs artwork what sold me on young avengers

i dunno... i must admit when a tv/movie writer does it.. typically the comic is actually pretty damn good... (Astonishing X-men, Young Avengers, Black Cat: Evil that men do, Daredevil (the arch with mysterio and mysterio's death)) yes, delay's are expected, Kevin will always be known as the worse though... but Never has Felicia been written better then by Kevin, or Kitty and Emma then by Joss, and Young Avengers are from Jim and Allans heads.. and they characterize them best.. so i don't mind waiting a little bit. Allan has done some writting as well as outlining of where he's going with YA season 2.. so i don't mind the wait

that's because writing for live action is completely different, you actually have the mindset of an actor portraying that character, so things like character development and **** liek that come out a lot better for them.

I never finished th Evil that Men Do. I bought the first three of four than came out on time, but then I never bought another. And I am not going to buy the Rest of Daredevil: The Target....though I doubt we'll see it.

I am also not going to buy the rest of Ultimate Wolvrine vs Hulk.

i find it funny how marvel and dc don't accept new writer submissions. but they will give titles to "hollywood" writers cause they has some sorta alor to them. but half the time marvel and dc look bad cause the writer has more important things to do.

I know....it seems like the easiest way to get to be a writer at Marvel is to go and become a hit writer for a tv series of films and then submit t marvel.

To submit to marvel you need to have something previously published elsewhere. and you need to send a copy of it to them, or a list of your published accomplishments, and then they will review it and if they like it they will ask for your sumission....it's dumb.

I'm still pissed off about the Whol EPIC thing they butchered.

yup, plus comics are made very similar to storyboards for shows and movies so its easier for a movie writer to go to comics.. then a comic writer to go movies.

i'm think more next year, i think thats why they are doing a world war hulk tie issue so people don't think the book is dead. i never got the toy biz figures cause once they came out, they already had new costumes
