Comics Hobgoblin entrance

Awesome pages, -JR JR when he would draw like his old man.
The original Hobgoblin was a legendary villain and I agree w/ Dr Dude that he even surpassed his Predecessor GG.
Since he had the brains/cool that Osborn lacked to carry his plans through to fruition.
Spidey was going nuts not being able to capture, or even find out who the real Hobgoblin was.
Them were the days.
Back in 1983, the Stern/Romita era was as strong as the webslinger, and the title have ever been in every sense of the word.
The Spider-man featured in ASM today is practically a spineless lapdog compared to himself 20 print years previous.

That is all To True!

I liked the ones from the early 80's when he was in college and was juggling 3 girls at once he had betty Brant psychotically in love while she was married to the hobgoblin, he’s trying to track down the Black-Cat and I think somewhere around their he proposes to MJ so she runs off, then His Aunt May dies and he thinks he killed the Black-Cat, With no one to turn to. classical Spider-Man.

Speaking of the Hobgoblin he's one of my favorite villains! back then he was written well. He had virtually no Superpowers but made it up with a whole lot of crazy.

Id love it if Marvel released a hardcover of the entire Hobgoblin Saga, all issues that 'he' appeared in, all in one comprehensive volume.
Instant fanboy wet dream.
