I just don't at all like the thread starter.
okay
I just don't at all like the thread starter.
It's the only two that I could find that fit what I wanted.Eww, not Bana Hulk![]()
Yes, we do. Unless we cheat and listen to the music of past generations.Panic! At the Disco looks like a bunch of chicks and they're pants are tighter then Joan River's Face. Today's youth has ****ty music to listen to.
Paul Rogers still lives.I've always hated them. But now I want to see them die. No one touches Queen and lives.![]()
Paul Rogers still lives.
The worst covers either Sheryl Crow doing "Sweet Child O mine" or Mirah Carey doing "Bringing On The Heartbreak". Celie Dion doing "Shook ME All Night Long" disturbed me.
I can't even listen to the GNR version of "Live and Let Die".Good call with Crow butchering "Sweet Child Of Mine".
Also, while I'm a big fan of the band, GNR managed to royally **** up both "Live And Let Die" and "Sympathy For The Devil".
The band Thrice did an awesome cover of Eleanor Rigby, IMO.
They did an equally awesome cover of Carol of the Bells.
Considering Eleanor Rigby and Carol of the Bells are two of my favorite songs ever, I think Thrice is really my mom.
Why I've grown to hate Panic!
I've discovered that they've covered some of my favorite songs at recent shows. Including: Elenor Rigby, Killer Queen, and Instant Karma. I decided to check out thier covers and what I discovered was God awful. Rather than trying to do justice to these pieces of music, they performed them in thier same bubble gum style.
What made me the most mad was their cover of Elenor Rigby. That song is so beautiful when done by the Beatles. But p!atd ****ed it up.
To give them credit, atleast they aren't releasing thier covers (god I hope they never do) but the fact that they disrespected such works in ****ty fashion is scary because there are plenty of kids who've never heard the originals and think that Panic!'s cover is cannon.
This got me thinking of other horrible re makes. There is already a thread for best remakes, so which re-makes make you cringe?
Thrice? you actually listen to Thrice? do you listen to them while writing in your e-journal about how much your life sucks and cutting yourself, you emo pig??
What's even more disturbing about them is that they got a record contract purely based on a demo sent to assmonger Pete Wentz, bassist/*****ebag grandeur of Fall Out Boy. They had never even played a show together. It's really a slap in the face to most of the bands who have to work hard to get on even the smallest of indie labels.
