Hot Toys just posted a teaser photo to their Facebook page!

Will no doubt be adding this one to my collection

Such cool pieces these Hot Toys. But what do you do with a $200 doll, essentially? And not only that, these expensive Batman figures they have made had terrible rubber issues where the suit has been melting away in spots, and you have to store them in VERY specific conditions. Way too much work for a toy.

According to Hot Toys, Bane is going to be released before the movie comes out. I wonder if they will have a new version of TDK suit Batman ready to be released along with him (or maybe they will just re-release the DX 02 Dark Knight figure like they have the Tumbler).

Could be a battle damaged TDK batsuit perhaps, to make it different to the previous release?

Probably. It'll probably be a version of his suit after his first battle with Bane.

Me too! Can't wait for this mother!

You display them. And they are not dolls.

Most of what you've read is VERY isolated. I've owned a total of 4 Batman "ACTION FIGURES", Batman: The Dark Knight version, Batman: DX, Batman Demon, Batman/Bruce Wayne and I've NEVER had ANY of the problems that others have had.

Anyone who tells you that you need to store them in specific conditions must be clueless. Get a class tower from IKEA for 70 bucks and dust them a couple times a month and you'll be fine. I can only guess that the people who have had these problems, rubber melting away, breaking PERS, ect, are too "HARD" on this figures. They are not meant to played with. Plus, STOP MODING YOUR FIGURES PEOPLE, leave them alone.

I have 4 Hot Toys figures, and havent had a single problem with any of them. I like figures because you can use them as a reference if you're an artist and can put them in different positions and what not. Also, they're some of the most detailed and impressive "figures" I've ever seen and truly are pieces of art, so while some collect statues for the same price, I think these are the better and more rational choice. (For me at least).

Couldn't have said it better myself. :applaud

I wonder what ever happend to the Joker 2.0 ?

so the teaser picture doesnt really show a toy. it looks more like a poster or banner. would be interesting to see though.

These figures will very cool, and battle damaged anything is always a nice have.

I never had that problem with my TDK Bats figure, and I haven't had to go to any special lengths to store it either, it's pretty much just sitting in it's box in my living room along with a bucnh of other 1/6 scale figures. I suspect it's not everyone that have had these problems.

I currently have 13 Hot Toys figures with the Keaton Batman on the way. I've had some minor issues, mostly paint out of line in small places or scuffed paint from the box, but nothing serious when it comes to the rubber suits tearing or anything that would ruin a figure. I wouldn't be worried about this with Bane either.

More than 4 months without an update from Hot Toys. What the hell is going on!!?

Today Hot Toys announced a Dark Knight Rises pre order was going up this week. I'm guessing it's Bane

Riding on the desert camouflage painted Tumbler, the one-of-a-kind military vehicle, Bane is about to come soon! Stay tuned!
