Can anybody help me out, i need to know how to screen capture and i only have Windows media player, how can i screen cap?

First you're gonna need to get a net, and maybe some tranquilizers...

...With a net.:o

"Print Screen" on your keyboard.

Open up your Paint Program.

Then go to Edit, Paste.

Trim if Necessary.

Save.

Host to Imageshack, Photobucket if necessary.

Time for my plan then.

Then it should work. I'm out of ideas. I just did it and it worked fine.

Outside the Paint one? Not that I know of.

Wait, are you trying to do a screen cap while in Windows Media Player? Because that tends not to work so well.

You could try downloading the shareware program BSplayer. It's like Windows Media Player but has a screencap feature too.

Okay, since you say you need to screen capture from Windows Media Player, I assume you want to capture videos right?

You might need to install third party software to do this. I've googled and this is the first hit I came across, it's not free, you have to buy it:

I haven't tried it personally, the developer claims that it could capture images from video (notably Windows Media Player). I don't need this software, because I already have Cyberlink PowerDirector installed to my PC which can do the job -- screen capture a video into a still picture. Good luck googling a freeware which can deliver what you want.

However, assuming you want to capture the Visualization in motion (as in when you play audio files), then you can try another software

http://all-streaming-media.com/reco...pture-software-supporting-audio-recording.htm

Again, I haven't tried this software. It records your activities on screen and converts it into a playable video file. Hope this helps.
