How Do You Pronounce Rorschach?

I always said "Roar Satch" rhyming with batch, not watch. Yeah, I know it's wrong, but damn if I don't care.

My other names were equally wrong, but forever imprinted in my mind:

"Vee Et"
"Joo Speh zick"
"Dan"

Whenever I hear people pronouce the word "rorschach" I always hear everyone say it differently. What is it's proper pronunciation?

Raw-Shark
Raw-Shock
Raw-Shack
Roar-Shark
Roar-Shock
Roar-Shack

?

There.

I pronounce Rorschach "Roar-shack", Veidt "Veit" and Juspeczyck "Joo-Spe-Syck".

I pronounce it like "rohr-shakh" - my attempt to approximate the German pronunciation in text.

Roar-schok
Veidt rhymes with Right, bright, and polite!
Since Jew-Spic-Sick isn't right, i'd venture a guess at "Yoospeckzuck"

i go with
Roar-shack

veet but i kind of try to subtly slip in the d

ju-spezik

but who the F:bh:k knows

Roar-shack :) If that's how Dave G pronounces it, I'm doing it that way as well xD

Ok, what about Ozymandias?

I always pronounce it like Ozzie-Man-de-ass.

is that right?

i used raw shark since that's how the cop pronounced it in the book.

I pronounce it as either Roar-shack or Roar-scach.

From what I remember, "Roar-shack" was how Moore pronounced it when he was discussing the character and his similarities with Mr. A on the "In search of Steve Ditko" documentary.

I say "Roar-Shock". Took me ages to learn how to pronounce it. :O

Ok, what about Ozymandias?

I always pronounce it like Ozzie-Man-de-ass.

is that right?

Thats how I pronounce it too.

Though I say Ozzie-Man-de-ASS a lot too for effect.

I pronounce Rorschach "Roar-shack", Veidt as "Vite", and Ozymandias as "Ozzy-man-dee-us."
