How do you want the transformation from Banner to Hulk, to look?

I want it to look nothing like the transformation scene from Ang's Hulk.

The transformation should be intense, scary at first and yes, painful. After that, he should be used to the changing aspect of it with little pain, but still with rage and intensity. Just picture him screaming (I like the green eye thing btw) as he is looking up trying to contain it, but he gives in, falls to his knees as he continues to change (a little drool, sweat). He bangs both fists on the floor as he slowly rises and then lets out a savage roar! This should be the first. After the changes can be shorter but still intense.

Ang Lee's transformation looked real bad-- his head looked like a balloon.

I'd use animatronics for the transformation.

I always liked when his eyes turned green first, that's what they should do.

I'd like it to go from a painful reaction to a release of power. I want to see his eyes taking a tinge of green before he lets loose, seeing veins popping as he screams, muscles undulating underneath flesh and pulsating like gelatin as we hear bone cracking and mending and jutting against his expanding flesh as his clothes tear through seams and his feet pop through shoes with ease. Then I want to hear less of Banner's scream and more of the Hulk's powerful rage as his skin and hair turns green, his muscles hardening to form the barrel-chested staunch and meaty monster we've all come to know, his eyes focusing with fury as fists tighten and the ground beneath him gives way to the weight of his new self. A last scream of power before the hurt begins, and I'm a happy camper.

If you can feel the pain that Banner is going through in the transformation then that means it has been done well.

You see Banner's skin changing colour, see his veins, hear his bones crunching, see his facial expression going from pain to pure rage and then you look at yourself and imagine your bones crunching and go ****, that hurts.

That will be a good transformation, if you can feel Banner's pain then you will feel sorry for him, for his curse and understand the character and why he needs a cure.

Blind fury had it right- the first impression should be "here it comes", followed by "that was awesome".

As an edit to my request- some prespiration, hyperventilation or mild salivation to add intensity wouldn't be too bad

I'll pick up the phone if the priapism lasts for longer than 4 hours.

I would like it to look something like this

Banner should be franticly begging people to get away from him before he turns. Even people he doesn't like.

Banner doesn't want anyone to die and the Hulk will not hesitate to kill most people.

That's kinda.... NOT the way it should look! why would he change in halfs? I expect it to be kinda like AWIL where it shows the bone crunching from growing, his eyes turn green, clothes ripping, sweat dripping w/ agony and pain and some screaming. I want fist pounding ,then a roar!

well i don't mean so much him turning in halves as it should be disturbing and painful looking, and yeah deff fist pounding

The TV series' first transformation was kinda cool. Obviously we can do 100 times better now. They will probably use anitromics w/cgi for the change. We need a heart pounding first metamorphasis! Something to make us go holy ****!

Seconded. If he were called "The Grotesque Hulk" it'd make sense, but for this film I'm looking for something a bit more incredible and a lot less disgusting.

I Third motion that thought. I want a savage Hulk, but something of a hero and heros don't look ucking fugly. How about like this?

Something like that or anything Deodato's done would look fine. Emphasis on his veins and his upper body is a must if they want to make a smaller Hulk without taking away his presence. I just don't want body-warping during the transformation that makes him look stupid.

Ah yes we can expect a dumbass cheap Hulk this time instead of a cool looking CGI Hulk, we can expect cheap makeup and basically another Bill Bixby Hulk. Puny, unrealistic, and lame.

I pity the fools who can't appreciate Ang Lee's film.

Too bad he'll be nothing like that in this film. From what I've heard the director is looking for another Bill Bixby Hulk, in other words a scrawny little puss.

A Grotesque Hulk is a ridiculous idea. If anyone should be grotesque (especially in their first transformation) it should be Abomination. That pic is exactly how Abomination should be.

Now that we're getting a re-make off shorts. How do you guys want the transformations to look? I thought the transformations in Angs Hulk sucked. It just looked like a guy 'inflating'. I'd rather have Banner in excrutiating pain, seeing his bones and muscles ripping and breaking as the metamorphises transpires. I envisison his transformations into the Hulk as something terrifying, somewhat like America Werewolf in London's was......

Obviously you haven't heard the news, it's not a remake it's a sequel.

Thank god!

Thats right, eat it Ang haters :woot:

I dont think people hate Ang Lee, but just most didnt like his over the top version. The whole comic book movie thing got old really quick. Ah, whats the use. This gets redundant. WHO CARES if its a sequel, reboot, clean slate or whatever. Just be better than the last ****ty movie!

Want It To Look Painfull Like "werewolf In London"
(kinda).

And I Definitly Dont Want Him To Talk Too Much Like Some Of The Earlier 90's Comics (keep It Simple)

-"In a telephone interview from Toronto Thursday, executive producer Jim Van Wyck told The Intelligencer this incarnation of the superhero is a "total re-invention" from that seen in 2003's The Hulk."

-Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios President of Production"...in looking to sort of reboot and start the franchise fresh and new, we wanted to start with a clean slate."

What part of the press on the movie so far is making people think this a sequel? I guess "total re-invention", "reboot", and "clean slate" is too vague?
