How Will The Civil War End?

Of course it looks that way. That's why I think a compromise is in order. Make the heroes more like PIs than agents. They retain their freedom but are still registered just in case something happens. Everyone's happy.

Hopefully Fury will come back with a vengeance.

Wont happen. And thats the truth.

Yeah, anything this serious most any government would go out of their way to find an 'angle' to be able to use it in their favor. Not to mention, the government's ability to declare martial law. What happens to all the 'registered' heroes in a case like that would be real interesting.

I'm not completely against it, I just know it would definitely not be very cut and dry. In fact, it would cause a ton of new problems that would take time to learn to deal with.

We really have no way of knowing that until Civil War ends.

Declaring martial law isn't easy. I doubt it will come to hat simply to track down some fugitives.

Yeah, it's an extreme circumstance, but it does get one curious. Either way, the idea does present the opportunity for some great storytelling.

I have an idea how it could end, probably wont and its probably a good thing, but what if the war ends because Aunt May is killed on live TV.
Then sometime later MJ is pregnant and has a baby girl, and they name her May?

i suggested a couple pages back that aunt may will be killed because spider-man showed hes peter parker. i think alot of people have this feeling. i dont know about mj popping out a kid anytime soon, but ya never know.

I think Spider-man will end up switching sides and Tony Stark will become power crazy and resort to alternate methods of persuasion to find out what he needs to know about the unregistered. I think after Civil War the registration act will go on for a bit but not too long. In Marvel fashion it will probably just be forgotten about as they have the characters go back to their own stories.

Baby May is already out there. Marvel just doesn't mention her in the hopes we're going to forget about her.

if all the names ARE eventually registered it just sets up a big conspiracy where all the IDs are leaked and lots of (B-list) heroes die.

I don't how it'll end, but we can be sure that our heroes won't be seeing eye to eye IMO.

i agree with that. i think one main reason marvel did this cross over wast o add more to characters that are starting to get old or seem like stories are gettin old. House of M was awesome and a great idea. but not very long lasting. its a story line that wont be around a year from now, but after the civil war... it could effect the marvel u for many years.

Senate / Congress : "LOL GUYS THIS WAS SO STUPID WHY DID WE EVEN DO THIS WHOLE REGISTRATION ACT?"

Cap Amer : "LOL GUYZ IRON MAN IM SORRIEZ CAN I STAY AT YOUR PLACE AGAIN PLZ? LOL"

Iron Man : "LOL SURE GUYZ GOOD TO KNOW WERE BACK TO NORMAL LOL"

Professor X : "ROAWRRRRR I DELETED ALL YOUR ALL MEMORIZESSS SO U DONT KNOW ANYTHING THAT HAPPENED LOLOL"

Yeah, thats about it.

People said the same thing about HoM.

Umm...how can you say the House of M wasn't very long-lasting, when the after-effects are still in place even now?

Exactly. And think about it: that was technically an alternate reality. This **** is going on in the 616. Major difference. I really hope no one tries to un-do all of this, because the Marvel Universe is the most interesting it's ever been, in my opinion.

well it will for the xmen. but didnt you notice how marvel just kind of... moved on. in the new avengers they delt with it a little but all n all its mostly xmen dealing with it, not marvel in a whole.

and you wont hear much of it during or after civil war.

That, and it's spilled over still in New Avengers, and is playing a fairly serious role in the Ms. Marvel comic. Since that reality has caused her to want to be a massive hero, and that her new enemy, one that only occured in the House of M reality, is possibly more powerful than Doctor Strange.

The after effects of House of M is where it belongs, anyone involved is involved.
I hope this all ends with Hulk, Thor, Blackbolt and Namor somehow. That would be wonderful.
