HULK VS WOLVERINE and HULK VS THOR (no joke)

hulk vs wolverine had better action...BUT hulk vs thor had a stronger storyline, one in which i could actually see as a movie... (although it would never happen) Hulk in asgard? ($300 mill...easily...lol) All the destruction, epic fights and expensive cgi? i think i just gave a producer $$ a heart attack....

I guess I would agree with that, though that doesn't mean the action in the Thor one sucked. It was awesome too. Here's hoping for more Hulk vs. cartoons in the future. Hulk vs. the Silver Surfer, Hulk vs. the Submariner. I know they have a Planet Hulk one that's planned for the future as well as a Thor "stand alone" cartoon like Iron Man and Dr. Stange have already received. I'd love a "Defenders" Marvel DTV as well. They're my favorite un-team.

Whoever animated the Hulk Vs Wolverine needs to do all of them - that battle was so epic it was insane - the Thor one was lacking majorly

The wovlerine one had sort of a fusion animation with an anime touch to it with all the violence and gore..wolverine is badass, deadpool is hilarious

Here are my thoughts on HULK VS WOLVERINE (I'll give my thoughts on HULK VS THOR later, after I've seen it).

THE BAD

1. I thought it was a little too violently bloody at times. Don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE fan of graphic bloody violence in cartoons (NINJA SCROLL is one of my all time favorite animated movies), but I think this creators were trying way too hard at times to be graphically violent just because they could. Little kids are no doubt going to watch this movie, so I think Marvel could have toned down the blood down, and depicted the dismemberment scenes a TAD more discreetly tastefully (but I still thought those scenes were cool).

2. Wolverine's healing powers were portrayed inconsistently throughout the whole movie. one minute he recovers quickly from being beaten into unconsciousness by the Hulk, the next minute it takes him a while to regain consciousness after being hit by a bunch of tranquilizers. And Then there was the scene where he is hit in the chin by a boulder thrown by the Hulk and continues to stand. The makers of this movie has made the same dumb mistake that many of the current creators of the comics have made, which is mistakenly treating his healing factor like the power of invulnerability. IMO, his healing factor in this movie was way too powerful.

3. I din't like Deadpool's line where he said "I shot him in the ass". Like the violence in this movie, that seemed more like a case of "we'll do it just because we can".

4. As cool as it was to have all of those Weapon X characters in the movie, it just didn't make much sense to me, since MOST of those characters were never part of the Weapon X program. This seems like a case of a suit in a board room telling the writers behind this movie to include everyone who has or will appear in the live action X-Men movies.

THE GOOD

1. The action/fight scenes.

2. The animation.

3. The art.

4. The humor.

5. Deadpool

5. Wolverine

6. Hulk

7. All of the bad guys.

8. All of the voice actors.

9. The fact that the makers of this movie used the classic (and IMO, superior) versions of these characters instead of the crappy Ultimate versions of these characters.

All in all, I thought this movie was pretty damn good.

Watched both movies. Both were awesome. As others have said, Hulk vs. Wolverine had better action but Hulk vs. Thor had the better srory. The only thing I had the slightest problem with was in Hulk/Thor. The action was great and the drama was excellent but Thor shouldn't have been Hulk's punching bag. Their strength should have been more evenly matched. That's my only complaint. I'll be buying the 2 disc special edition DVD.

The best Marvel dtv yet. Backgrounds were beautiful, voice acting was matched this time, animation wasn't jumping around, and there wasn't any crappy cgi. Only thing I didn't like was sabertooth looked silly.

I just saw Hulk vs Thor. I'll word carefully as to not give away any spoilers.

What I did like was that the fight wasn't as one sided as I thought it would be and Thor's universe was potrayed very well, loved the cameos. Just goes to show you how much they can do with a Thor movie trilogy. Leave Spiderman and the others in the dust. A great story too, wouldn't mind if it was an arch in future Thor comics.

What I did not like was the crappy animation. Thank the Japanese for that, and the Hulk's strength was over blown. Its almost down right silly. Brute strength is no match for pure power, mystical power at that.

Read some of the spoilers, doesn't sound like Thor is treated with the proper respect. **** them. I'll skip it.

I was going to write a proper review, but Firefox did something wonky and I can't retrieve the previous review. Straight to the point: I'd rate Hulk vs. Wolverine at a 6 out of 10. The inconsistent battle damage- characters heal, but we don't see wounds knit- and Banner's characterization were the two main issues I had. Also, the cameo appearance of a certain 2-clawed mutant could have had more of a purpose. Deadpool steals the show, though, so I can't complain too much. When it's good, it's good.

Hulk vs. Thor fares less favorably. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 in comparison. Bruce has more going for him in this animated film, but he still doesn't have much of a personality. The approach to the dialogue got bland after a while and magic was used to create and whisk away problems once too often. The one viewing wasn't horrible, but considering how much potential it had I'd rather watch Hulk vs. Wolverine by itself.

The flaws in both films were in the animation and the portrayal of Bruce Banner. My problem with the animation is that it was stiff, as I've come to regard many of Lionsgate's Marvel partnerships. Looking at the comic panels in the credits and the actual footage, those still panels look more dynamic than what's in either feature. Also, I get that this is "Hulk Vs.," but would it hurt to flesh out Bruce Banner beyond "Don't make me ____"? They do it in the books all the time and I saw Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost in the screenplay credits. C'mon, guys. It's not that hard.

I'd rent this. You could buy it, but I don't think either film is so amazing that you need to own it.

I immensely enjoyed Hulk vs. Wolverine. Great fight scenes, good voice acting and fluid animation.

Hulk vs. Thor on the other hand pissed me off. Thor basically gets his ass handed to him for the majority of the encounter, same goes for the Asgardians in general. The voice acting was average with Thor's being pretty off from what I think he should sound like.

So, ironically, what I was expecting to be the meh of the proceedings I enjoyed and what I was expecting to enjoy turned out to suck.

the Weapon X vaptured the Hulk waaaaaayyyy to easily with just a bunch of tranq darts, WTF??? Realistically none of them should have ever been able to capture him but I understand it had to happen within the context of the story so that he could whip major ass on them inside the Weapon X compound later.

Why does the Hulk have short hair against Wolverine and long hair against Thor.
Okay maybe this is old Hulk Vs.Wolverine and modern day Hulk against Thor but even still still his hair looks way to long against Thor.He looks like Hippie Hulk.
