Not that I'm really into metal, but were going to base the depiction on an amalgamation of Zakk Wylde, classic Marvel and classic Thor depictions in art.

What sort of style are you shooting for? Something more realistic? Zakk Wylde tends to fall somewhere between Thor wannabee, a skinny Grizzly Adams and a homeless person to me as far as his looks go, but I can see the reference.

Calvin wasn't completely wrong with Wonder Woman, as she was a member of the JLA in the 60's comic, but was retconed out after Crisis and replaced with Black Canary, which was the answer you were looking for.

The Metal Men (I loved that book in the 70's) consisted of Gold, Iron, Lead, Mercury, Platinum & lovable Tin. Their creator was Dr. Magnus.
