I found an iPod!!

MUAHAHAHAHA! Dance puppets! DANCE!

Be careful, that Ipod might be registered... if you go to itunes or something with it synched on your computer...
is this true? How can I find out if its registered?

Dateline and Chris Hansen(sp) might show up at your door wondering where you got that Ipod.
I thought ppl show up to THEIR house and not the other way around.

Yes. Now something like cash or change is fair game b/c there's no way to find its rightful owner. But an item like a wallet or iPod isn't because you can find its owner.

what if I found a sack full of money?

I think Apple.com has a database.

Why are you calling him a prick... You're the one acting like a prick.

Because he's acting like one. Accusing someone of stealing when they clearly didn't is a prick move. And he didn'tsteal it he FOUND it. Let me repeat that. HE.FOUND.IT.

The definition of find:

I don't know how much clearer I can make this:dry:

He found it and then stole it.

That'd be odd because no one carries around sacks of money and loses them.

I found a Crown Royal bag with $54 in quarters once. I looked around for the owner, but there was no one but me in the parking lot, so I took it home and did like all of my laundry for a year

I say if it's registered on apple... give it back.. If not Keep it.

He found it and then stole it.

how old was the kid? did he look spoiled or disadvantaged?

Both of the ipods I have were given to me for free cause they were also found. One video (a must for jury duty btw) and the other is the older white one (using it right now :P). I lost count of how many were actually found. I'm going to say 7. People put them in the dumbest places. Word of advice, put them in YOUR pocket not just any pocket.

No, it doesn't. Stealing from the wealthy is still stealing.
its only stealing if you get caught. You wont believe how many kids today that dont deserve the things they have. It serves them right to lose an expensive video game handheld that they done nothing to show for it. I mean yea it was the parents that bought em but its their fault for buying them everything they want.

well, its technically stealing either way. its only a problem if you get caught.

You're just rationalizing stealing from them.

Stealing is stealing regardless of whether or not your caught.
