Forgive me if this has been posted before.
For years, Marvel tried to get film projects off the ground, w/no success whatsoever. Then all of that changed. They almost overnight took over the market & are still going strong. And it started with Blade. What if the same applies to TV shows?

It's not quite the same, is it? Marvel came into a vacuum in the film world with Blade. No DC or major comic book-based movies had been made for a long time. Blade basically rejuvenated studios' interest in comic book movies because it showed that audiences are interested in them. On TV, however, there's Smallville, the comic-based cartoon series, sci fi shows that have a distinctly comic bookish flavor, etc. Blade's just another drop in the bucket this time around.

That's not true; Blade came out in '98. Just a year after Batman & Robin, Spawn, Steel & MIB. Now granted three of those were major stinkers, but they were still there. Now Tim Burton's Batman came into a vacuum.
Furthermore, Smallville is largely a soap opera with superpowers. So were Dark Angel, Buffy, et al. What we haven't seen in a long time in a TV series is superheroes looking & acting like superheroes. Costumes, secret identities, things of that sort. Granted, Blade doesn't wear a mask, but he's fully into his role of protector/avenger rather than trying to find it.

Hey if Marvel can pull it off, go them. I'll be watching.

I hope this is the case, there are plenty of Marvel characters I would like to see on the small screen. Not to mention follow ups to the movies, I would love to see a X-men series or maybe Daredevil.

I actually liked the first two series of Superman series (with dean caine!).

I'd love to see a well done daredevil series, but you know what would be the BEST TV series for marvel comics.....

CABLE AND DEADPOOL!!!!!
Think of it, the characters are perfect to have adventures together, just read the comics, you'd get the comedy, the action everything!

I can't see it.

 , really?

Did you not like the comics? There was plenty of wity banter and stuff, become one of the most love team ups in the marvel universe, They wouldn't need a huge budget to do all the space stuff and super effects as they're not as super powered as the likes of Thor and Sentry, I think it'd work really well, much better than that smallville crap and suchlike!

I actually think a Daredevil series could work.

The Punisher looks like it's next imo. It's very easy to do and a nice way to ease people into the Marvel universe (actually wearing an emblem and things loike that). Plus it would be really cheap. Have Daredevil and Kingpin guest star a few times, maybe even for an arc.

Daredevil would work too but I really see The Punisher being the next one.
