What do I look for on eBay to find a poster that was actually used or made for theaters?

Try going to your local cinema and asking. Alternatively, date one of the girls who works there. That's how I got my massive Daredevil banner.

You can check out allposters.com. They've got the ad-sized posters there (for a lot of movies, they're double sided like the ones that are actually put on display. I've picked a couple from there.

For something actually from the theater, like Fried Gold said, it can't hurt to ask the people at the theater. You might luck up.

I got a ton of posters that were doublesided and actually used in theaters(just received a spider-man 3 one yesterday) but the only way i got them was because my best friend worked at a theater and would give them to me. So my best advice would simply be connections. But there should be a website that sells them, but your best bet: ebay.
