Does anyone know where I can get a 27x40" poster print of this that doesn't cost me 50 bucks? I don't really care about getting the original one-sheet that was displayed in theaters or whatever. I just want this poster so I can frame it next to my Batman Begins one that I got for no more than 15 bucks a few years back. Anybody? I've searched but I keep finding ridiculously expensive ones.

If you want the full movie size one (27X40) you will have to pay the high price right now. However, if you would like the alternative, there is the smaller retail version (24X36) for 7.99.

Amazing how much difference a few inches can make. Me, I plan to buy all TDK movie posters made available to the public in full size. Will it hurt my wallet? Probably. But such is the price of pure awesomeness.

is ther ea high res version of that lying around on the web anywherE?

So if I wait a while I can get a cheaper one? I don't need this movie memorabilia, authentic this and that, I just like the poster. I have a 27x40 Batman Begins poster and I want them to match. The cheapest I've seen the full-size for is 30 bucks, and that's a lot for a big piece of paper.

lucky me, i got the original theatrical double-sided poster for $12, plus $8 for shipping. What a gorgeous poster.....

they are getting expensive online, even the reprints

Aw man where did you get it?? Is it because Heath died that they're overpricing the hell out of them?

It's because the hype is getting bigger. Just wait a while, it'll die down, and the prices will go down as well.

Hmm, you could maybe download the high res version from the website, and take it in to Kinko's or Staples and print the size you want. I don't know as that would be a whole lot cheaper though, it might be. Some of that depends on how friendly you are to them.

Or get some friends down at the local movie theater - they can't sell the stuff, they have to give it away. Lots of theaters quit putting that poster out because it was getting stolen so often, and it is just sitting in their poster bins in case they need something close to premier time. Always pays to be nice...and it never hurts to ask. The worst they can say is no, and if you don't ask you already have that answer.

Sorry can't help you more, but these are the two lowest cost methods I know. If anyone knew where they were 7 or 8 bucks they would buy them all up and put them on ebay for $30, lol.

I got three words for you, FYE. $ 8 bucks a poster, get there early though. I have three batman on the police car, his back to the city and a joker one that looks like a card.:brucebat:

But are they full size 27x40"?

eBay, a couple months ago. I lost the auction, but the winner didn't pay or something, so I got a "second chance" thing on it or something, and the
seller's asking price was $12. Naturally, I snapped it up quick :P
And yeah, I think you're right about Heath's death affecting the price of the posters, and because the Why So Serious one is so kickass

Yeah, all of the hype and his death are both good reasons as to why the price went up. I think I only payed $25 for the 27x40 theatrical one-sheet of the poster in question. Too bad the one where he's in the street with the knife isnt easy to find unless you want a mini-poster. Arggghhh...it would look fantastic 27x40.

OK, was ^^ that the actual double-sided one-sheet? Or a print? B/c double-sided is totally where its at.

Was that question directed at me? Cause yeah, mine is double-sided and that really is where it's at. MMmmhhmmm.

If you're going to print one yourself, Costco does prints and is cheaper than Kinkos or Staples.
