If there was a way for you to no longer require sleep--your body's physiological requirement of sleep no longer existed and you were in a permanent state of being freshly rested--would you choose to give up sleep?

In a heartbeat, sleep's the ultimate waste of time.

Yeh. I don't sleep much anyway. It's always been a bit of a chore for me to sleep - I'm constantly hyper, and hate the idea of going to bed (to sleep).

It would make my life much simpler. Not to mention all the things you could do with the extra time.

m parents telling me to go to sleep is like swearing at me :ikyn

Sleep is my favorite thing next to Cigarettes and the FairTax, so, no.

I would try it...But probably wouldn't like it...So I would undo!

Not having to sleep is like a superpower. Imagine all you could learn and do with that extra time.

Exactly

so much more would be done

Even from a practical standpoint you could work two full-time jobs without getting tired and still have time to screw around.

Imagine what some crazy with a Karate dojo near him could do. Forget Batman, even he has to sleep.

I am seriously 'gasming over the thought of no sleep :woot:

I like sleep, mostly because i like to dream, and i like that state of feeling lazy and at peace.

Yay, sleep! that's where I'm a viking!

True, but technolagy could create something for you see your dreams in front of your eyes

like a dream tv :word:

I'd be happy if i could learn to survive on 3 hours of sleep, or if it was optional.

I'd settle for a compromise, like say sleeping for an hour a day. That way you can have dreams, and your mind can explore and do all that ****, and then you are back up again. More or less I would opt for no sleep. I agree its a colossal waste of time. I don't like spending a third of my life unconscious.

Can I get a trial version of it first?

Dreams are awesome. I don't want to give that up. when I'm asleep I don't have to deal with people and it's a great excuse for many things. ''Hey listen I didn't kill that hooker I was asleep''
