Comics If you could get ONE writer to write a core Spidey title...

Sucks they're so pricey, but for them it might just be worth it. Thanks.
These links had some excerpts, which is why I included them. But ebay might be a better bet.

I'm keeping my eye out for the Spider-Man/X-Men Times Arrow Triolgy... Mr. Castro co-wrote one of those as well.

Right now... I would vote for Geoff Johns. Spideyneeds fixing. Joe Q said in an interview a while back that they have laid plans that will upset Spidey fans. Why go in to that on purpose? Spidey is so broken right now and has been for a long time. Over 100 issues and counting. Johns worked wonders on Flash, Teen Titans and many others at DC... Spidey needs a magic touch

dan slott and frank cho.

Or Darwyn Cooke drawing and writing.

I second Darwyn Cooke. he did an awesome story in "Tangled Web" a few year's back. Valentine's day issue.....pretty awesome little story.

He done a great christmas one in tangled web too "t'was the fight before christmas" a real heart warmer. Made me all misty :)

I'll wager that anyone who has read his Sinister Six Trilogy (novels), or The Stalking of John Doe (short story) would agree.

The Stalking of John Doe is one of my favourite Spider-Man stories of all time.

That said, I'd like to see what Brubaker could do. He recently hinted in an IGN interview that Spider-Man was his favourite character.

If Brubaker could handle Spider-Man even half as well as he's handling Daredevil, then I'm all for it!! He's not dissappointed me yet! DD, Captain America....so far, so good.

Millar already said there will never be a "Wanted" sequel.....but feel free to check out Savage Dragon #128....Here's the cover...

That's why I said "prequel," not sequel. :)

*slaps self in forehead*

DOH!! My bad.

Still, Savage Dragon #128 features Dragon versus the characters from "Wanted". It's meant to fit in with the "dimension-hopping" that was going on in Wanted#3. So far it features F***wit and The Killer. Don't know who all else will make an appearance, though....

I'm pretty sure he didn't say "upset". I think they were refering to the fans will shed a tear over the events they have planned. I took it that it's going to be sad.

But like 99.75 percent of the Spider-Man fans on here are already upset anyway.

didn't Busiek also right Amazing Fantasy 16-18?

Yah, I'm pretty sure he did. Those were pretty damn cool, if I remember correctly. Also, are any of the JM or Kurt Busiek stories collected in any TPBs???
