Because Brook, that hag, brings this "hot guy" home to make Gary jealous, but Gary is so awesome he makes the "hot guy" worship him completely (and who wouldn't, really?) and then she can't continue the date haha.

Then Gary has this awesome strip poker party and Brooke comes and I'm supposed to feel sorry for her? Better luck next time, b1tch :cmad:

Eat it, Brooke!

I didn't like this movie, and they didn't even get back together in the end. What kind of romantic comedy is that, oh and the comedy wasn't even funny :cmad:

It had Vince Vaugh, Jason Bateman and Jon Favreau, of course it was funny! :cmad:

Seriously, I really liked it because it handled things realistically, not in the Hugh Grant-Julia Roberts "Oh oh oh, I'll love you forever and ever, Hugh! - Uh uh mah bridsh achsnt is ajshdajsgaghsdfasd" way

it was all vince vaughn that dude cracks me up everytime , even in clay pigeons . the possibility of getting back together is implied at the end in a funny way.

Then there would be loads more people who would complain that the ending is so cliche...

It's at least surprising.

Yeah I hated this movie a lot. The high points were the ending was different (and especially good since I hate Aniston) and the scenes with Vaugh, Bateman, Favero, D'nofrio were good. Replace Aniston and liven it up a bit and it could have been a great flick.

thats one of the better things about the movie...the fact that they don't get back together. cool film, very funny in places.

The scene where Aniston was bare naked walking through the apartment wasn't bad, but nothing was visible :(

i like the break up, somewhat, but is this a thread? seriously?

love it. Vince Vaughn= Greatness.

Cole Hauser got the best line in the entire movie.

Cus it wasnt a comedy it was a bombedy gigiddy gigiddy...

Don't know why people hate it so much. It's funny, has a little bit of romance, and the ending caught me off guard. I really wasn't expecting much when I saw it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

And Vince Vaughn is great... the scene with him nursing a bloody nose after being beat up by Aniston's brother and their following exchange is hilarious. Seriously, Vaughn should be a stand-up comedian someday, because his comic timing is pitch perfect and improvised some of the best lines in the movie.

I thought it was ok. The ending was different and realistic. I would have hated it if they got back together at the end. btw, that clip above is hilarious.

 I had completely forgotten about that until now.

" Arrested for what babe, being awesome? "

:woot:

It wasn't too bad. It was just so...forgettable, IMO.

This movie was average and was an average performance from both stars. It's about on the same lines as Along Came Polly, cute yet forgetable.
