Sorry, but from day one, Zack gave off a serious "potential serial killer" vibe, and I dare anyone to dissuade me of that. Seriously, he was entirely too anti-social and his work consumed his whole life. Yeah, initially, it's a shock, but really thinking about the evolution of this character, I don't really see it being that much of a stretch.

I didn't post any spoilers in the title, or any details in my opening post.

So, you really have no one to blame but yourself for getting spoiled if you clicked on people's comments.

Anway, back to my outrage

Hodgins could have made more sense (although, if they did that...that would have been grounds for me to stop watching the show as well since both he and Zack were my favorite characters on the show...)

Sweets would have made more sense too, since they were hinting at that in the original Gorgomon episode...and the profile of the killer at the end of that episode looked like him.

I will admit, reluctantly, that post-war Zack kind of makes sense...since he's seemed a little different since coming back.

But, they really should have developed the story better. I dunno, save it for the next season if they needed to.

If they were going to get rid of a clearly beloved character like that...then by god, they should have had the respect to do a better job developing it and explaining his reasons for finding the logic in a cannibal...

I am serious, this was the line they crossed that made me decide to stop watching the show.

The only way I'll watch it again now, is if they have Zack guest star.

Other than that, why should I watch again? They destroyed one of my favorite characters! I'm afraid they'll try the same BS with Hodgins!

Booth is Boreanez right? He's the best thing about Bones, he adds depth and character to the show, basically the heartbeat of it. I watched the first 2 seasons but lost interest so I wouldn't mind seeing him go if he has a new gig lined up.

when i first saw the advertisement i had thought booth might eventually turn bad or something would happen to break up the dynamic of brennan and booth working together. i didnt expect this kind of twist though , im not sure that bodes well for the future of the show.
