Now, we all know what a piece of crap Spawn was, but there are 3 Image properties that I think can be the savior of them being on the big screen, as well as save the company itself, excluding of course, a reboot of Spawn, these are the 3 that if done right could be great films and I'll tell you how.

*Deathblow: A dying soldier on a mission to kill someone else while others are trailing him to do the same. Could make a thrilling, bloody, explosive movie, although the only casting I could come up with is Liam Neeson as Lynch.

*The Savage Dragon: This would make a great action/comedy with great lines, once again, alot of action, and alot of absurdity. Dwayne Johnson in the lead role?

*The Maxx: This would likely be my favorite because...it's my favorite Image comic. The world that Kieth & Messner-Loebs have created for the books would make for some amazing visuals, and if they could create The Maxx detail-for-detail like his comic book likeness (I don't think they should change him at all.), that would be an amazing feat, add characters like Mr. Gone (John Malkovich), Julie (Brittany Murphy), and CG characters like the Isz and Ret'Qark'n, you're talking about a movie that could be groundbreaking.

Deathblow is at wildstorm now which is under DC comics not Image.

I don't think we'll ever see a dragon movie. After the way the cartoon was treated I don't think the writer wants to deal with otehrs touching his baby again.

The Maxx could be cool though.
I could also see Invincible since thats at Paramount right now.

You're right. I forgot that Deathblow is not an Image property anymore. Even better, there's already a studio for it. As for Invincible, I think it would make a better TV series than movie.

If you mean live action that would be way to hard. The fights are just way to epic and violent, a cartoon maybe but only on hbo or something late night. If MTV did cartoons again I could see it there.

I'd love to see a new Savage Dragon cartoon done right though.

Yeah, Invincible would be EPIC as a LIVE-ACTION trilogy, not a TV series or animated show.

You also forgot the other Robert Kirkman comic that's saving Image right now: The Walking Dead. How this isn't an HBO show yet, I don't know. Greatest zombie story ever.

I maintain that if The Walking Dead were a weekly live action television drama it would have a Lost/Sopranos/Wire level following

I think that if Spawn were more like it's animated counterpart instead of that live action crap, it would have been an awesome film.

I'd love to see a good live action Spawn movie.

It'll never happen though. :(

The thing with Image is...as cool as a lot of their properties were, that namesake of theirs is sadly their undoing...most of the **** that came out of that studio were just that...all about image. I have all kinds of copies of comics from back in the day from Top Cow to Wildstorm to Cliffhanger, but it was all derivative of DC and Marvel truth be told. The only things I want to see have movies are Gen 13, Pitt, WildC.A.T.S, and possibly The Darkness. Pitt had a LOT of potential and could be done as a very cool live action fantasy action flick, but you'd need someone to get it off the ground.

Maxx is actually Wildstorm to I believe, but I'd love to see the movie. Larsen has said on the Image boards that he would love a Dragon movie and, I think, he wants Bruce Willis as Dragon. I could be wrong though. Haven't visited that forum in awhile.

Shadowhawk would be cool.
