In Ghost Rider 2, I'd like to see...

^MSJ has already stated Roxanne is unlikely to be in any sequel. However, i personally would like her to be there, even if its a small role.

Honestly that would be odd not to have her involved unless MSJ is planning some kind of trilogy, where he goes back to her at some point.

Well, to be honest (and it pains me to say this) now there is no need for her, Johnny has chosen his path in the movies and she cant follow, not to mention he would be putting her in danger every 5 mins by keeping in touch.

So honestly i dont think she is needed, but i would like a cameo/small role, just to see what she is up to. Maybe have her keeping records of all of GR's paper appearences.

If they go the trilogy route, I'd look for her to return for the last film and wrap it all up.

^Possibly, but it depends were they go with the 2nd movie. Maybe in the 3rd, JB finally lets go of his GR curse and then goes and finds Roxanne.

Eep! NO! NO, NO, NO! Definitely wouldn't like that! Sounds so "cliche". Roxanne should either just disappear from the plotline or just make brief "cameos". I want the next films to focus more on JB's coming to terms with his powers without any of that "lovey-dovey" stuff getting in his way. We need a much darker plot for the next films. I doubt putting Roxanne back will do any help.

I'd rather have it if JB simply leaves Roxy for good; Instead opting to fully embrace his curse & 'mastering' its use. The trilogy (if we're gonna have one) should be left open-ended with GR still running-around avenging innocents and stuff.

I've always enjoyed open-ended films. It's like when we finish reading the latest comic book issue & are left to wonder: "Where will the road take GR next?", or "What new journeys await him?" IMHO, its much better compared to finishing the plot altogether with JB renouncing his powers just to get a "fairy-tale" ending with Roxanne (that would stink! :csad:).

Also, leaving the trilogy still open for future plotlines is actually a good thing! :yay: That way, it's more possible to create "spin-offs" like a live-action (or animated) series starting where the movies left off. (Hmm, yeah! A "Ghost Rider TV series" would be cool, indeed. :word:)

Yeah i know what you mean, and i would like that ending, but somewere in this storyline, Blaze is gonna have to confront Mephisto, and its likely he will destory meaning he will naturally be free of the curse.

Well, they can always come up with a "loophole" that allows JB to retain his powers even without Mephs' influence. Let's say, just have him rid of the "demon spirit" while retaining the ability to transform into GR. This means he gets to have full control over his curse, this time (a.k.a. no more "inner struggle"-- just pure Johnny Blaze as GR :cwink:). I've always wanted to see the day JB FINALLY gets to own his powers all to himself-- completely independent of the "Spirit". I say that's a better way to wrap things up for the films rather than him losing it altogether :csad:.....

Never noticed this thread before. Well for most people who know me, in Ghost Rider 2, I'd like to see...one name and one name only.

DAN KETCH :hyper:

Get rid of Nicholas Cage

Get a better story

More violence

Ghost Rider has more powers besides (Look into my eyes)

I know thats what I wish the first movie would have looked like. Ghost Rider shouldnt sound like that his voice should be deep as hell...

Actually, I think the best Ghost Rider voice I've ever heard was his voice-over from The Incredible Hulk animated series episode "Innocent Blood". Or FF TAS episode "When Calls Galactus"; that was the same voice actor.

It was very hollow, very ghosty. Check it out:

I loved the in RTD, great story IMO.

^Yeah, no matter what anyone else says I'm damn sure RTD's a prequel to Vol. 5, (as well as Trail of Tears). Although, I wouldn't mind if they design GR's jacket like THAT for the sequel. Clayton Crain's "belt-buckled style" designed jacket is my favorite thus far. :yay:

I hope they just adapt RTD one day, maybe at the end of GR2, GR could end up in hell, then GR 3 could be RTD.

It certainly would be nice to see GR riding through Hell. It looked awesome in RTD and the first issues of vol. 3. Proper cool Heavy Metal album cover stuff!

Remember that awesome scene from RTD where GR was desperately trying to outride thousands of evil nasties? Or later when he bursted out on Texas and fried one of those Ku Klux bastards? Man o man, how I'd love to see those very scenes for the movies!

I can just see it: GR racing through the bowels of hell with soooo many undead freaks in hot pursuit -- all hell-bent on tearing his soul apart! It'll be like a reminiscent of Constantine; only MUCH more badass 'n full of high, adrenaline-packed action! And of course: KAZAAN!!! Heh, I know its just wishful thinking but man how I'd love to see a movie RTD style!

:ghost: Rrrrrrrrr!!!
