Has anybody even seen advertising for this at all? It comes out tomorrow and Universal is actually distributing it. About a priest that specializes in exorcisms by inhabiting the bodies of the possessed, but meets his match in an 11 year old boy possessed by a powerful demonic force.

The last thing Eckhart did that was somewhat award worthy was his turn in Bleed Like This. It's like he does one good movie then three ****ed up ones.

Clearly he met Eric Roberts and knew exactly what he wanted out of his career.

I don't think this looks awful, but I don't feel like I'll see it until Netflix.

I saw it today...

It's another possession movie where it copies elements from The Exorcist and Poltergeist, but this time they also copy Inception. I will say there are kernels of a good idea in this movie, but they don't really do anything with it. It just goes by the motions. And for whatever reason Aaron Eckhart continues to pick these low budget projects and put his 110% into it. He totally transforms in this which is good for these kinds of movies, but the material doesn't really require it. Overall, this is just mediocre if you're into horror but nothing worth mentioning. Also side note, you can tell this movie was shelved for a couple of years because their big pop song that was playing in the club scene was Sail by Awolnation. hilarious.
