Incredible Hulk presentation - AICN spy report.

Not very much there that we didn't already know about, unfortunatly.

Cool stuff! I'm imagining the see-through skin must've been an unfinished shot? Abomy sounds pretty cool though! As far as his HULK comments I guess if you weren't taking into account the details that he may look the same, "Big Green Guy".

Liking the sound of Abomination.

Saw some ace animatics of Hulk racing through the city, hopping over cars, climbing up fire escapes and leaping off a building onto a helicopter.

Excellence. :woot:

What's with the chrome dome-thing?

lol, you guys are kidding right??? Chrome-dome means bald...

Ohhh, never heard of that expression.

He better have the same ears as he does in the comics.

Spy Gets Peek at Universal Presentation
Source: Ain't-It-Cool-News
October 30, 2007

A scooper for Ain't-It-Cool-News got a peek at a Universal Pictures presentation of its upcoming projects that included Wanted, The Incredible Hulk and Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Here's the word on "Hulk" (Spoilers ahead!):

The art I saw of Hulk was fairly similar to the Ang Lee hulk (i.e. green) but it looks like he wears ripped jeans (!) instead of short shorts. According to Voice Over Man, this Hulk will be 9 foot tall. Saw some ace animatics of Hulk racing through the city, hopping over cars, climbing up fire escapes and leaping off a building onto a helicopter. Also saw a cool shot of William Hurt as Thunderbolt Ross, complete with white tache. The coolest Hulk stuff was the concept art and animatics for Abomination. This dude looks awesome. He's huge (much bigger than the Hulk), kinda has clear, see-through skin, a chrome dome head and a protruding spine running up his back. There were some cool pre-viz shots of him with a car in each hand, 'clapping' them together and crushing some army guys. All the concept stuff I saw looked great, much more action-orientated than Lee's Hulk, but then I guess we knew that anyway.

Everything about this report makes my toes curl!

please let that only be some sort of pre visualisation and not the final product.

I was thinking that too, but it would be kinda cool to see Abominations insides kinda like those little slugs in 'The Faculty', through their skin...dunno, if done right could be cool. Not sure about the chrome dome thing though....

It might be but the report said "kinda see through skin". Kinda means if it is see through it will be very light. Either way if he is "kinda" see through would that really ruin it for you? Personally the "protruding spine" thing has me excited and wanting to see some pics.

Having a chrome dome means you have a bald head. That's how he is in the comics so if no one likes the "chrome dome" I guess they just don't like the look of him in the comics either.

As another poster mentioned, the HellBoy II part sounds much more impressive.

Sounds about the same as a report from a month ago or so.

I've been holding off on this one hoping someone would beat me to the punch and save me the type fest, but I figure with all the years I've been at SHH I should give back a bit. So I was at a convention in Las Vegas last week called Magic, it's for the clothing industry, I go primarily for T-shirts cause it's what I do for a living. Anyhow I went out to see some friends of mine at thier booth, it's a company called Mad Engine, I used to work there and they are the main licensor for Marvel Comics in T-Shirts. Anyhow they had a widescreen t.v. playing various clips of the upcoming Hulk movie and it showcased early animatics for the film. I saw a few animations of the Hulk in New York, they were not fully rendered out just in rough greyscale form, but it was pretty cool. Some of the things I saw were the Hulk running up a side of a building and elbow dropping a car (kind of a Wrestling move), the Hulk smashing to cars together to form boxing gloves (I remember a similar move in a Hulk video game that came out two years ago) and Hulk smashing down Helicopters in the Air with cars. There was some concept art shown, Bruce Banner running across New York rooftops with army/swat officers chasing him and the Hulk Flexing in rage. They played alot of clips from the T.V. Show too so I figure they were trying to convey a sense of the man on the run scenario that show featured. The Hulk I saw was VERY Ripped, and had the same face as the video clip that was on You Tube after Comic Con. I would have liked to taken snapshots but you cant bring cameras of any kind at Magic due to the competitive nature of the clothing industry. If you have any other questions I can answer I will, all in all it was brief but I was very happy with what I saw. LOTS of action and in New York.

Are you guys satisfied now? A bit at least has been described.

LoL! Yeah I guess that a few moaners will be slightly satisfied. They are not going to rest untill they see a picture or a trailer!:whatever:

Anyway, you described what Abomination was going to look like anyway. Could you tell us what they mean by that his skin looked clear/see through?

. There were some cool pre-viz shots of him with a car in each hand, 'clapping' them together and crushing some army guys.

This sounds freaking awesome!

^ Just like the Hulk game!

Wait, the report makes it sound like it was Abomb clapping, not Hulk.....
