I had all my apps, etc. saved on my old notebook...it died in October...and I have a new one. I've tried using my phone with the new computer and it says how it will delete or replace the date on my phone with any data on the new computer/itunes...is there anyway to do this without the date on my phone being deleted/replaced?

The only way I know of to avoid having to wipe your phone is if you already know the unique key your old computer had assigned to your phone. If you can get it off your old computer, then I know how you can trick iTunes on your new computer into thinking it's already synced with your phone.

Otherwise, as far as I know, you'll have to wipe out your own phone to sync to the new iTunes library. You might want to check Apple's forums about alternatives. Or post in the Mac Support thread here to see if anyone else knows an answer.

Alright, so everytime I close my Itunes and open it again, all my music is gone and I have to reopen it....

Its really starting to get annoying, because then if I need to sync my Ipod I have to erase and sync and it takes like 2 hours.

Does anyone know what this problem is?
