Hello, just made this thread here for people who have problems with their Ipod Touch 1st Gen or 2nd Gen. Sorry if it has already been made.
Well i'll start it off with a question:
My home button gets stuck quite often recently, should I take it to an apple store to get it fixed or is it just normal after a year? . It is a second generation iPod touch.

I have a Gen1 32Gig iPod Touch. It died on me this past week. It would load up to the white apple loading screen and then shut off. The solution was to reload the software from scratch on the iPod. If you restart the iPod, or just turn it on, and hold down the home button and attach it to a PC running iTunes it will connect in maintenance mode and allow you to reinstalled the base software. You will lose everything on there, but as long as everything is still in your iTunes you can simply sync back up and get all your stuff back. Just a tip in case anyone runs into something like this.

Thanks for that but wasn't what I was looking for. Its not a problem of the software if not the button itself it gets stuck down and doesn't pop back up...
Thanks anyway to try and help!
PS: If anybody else has a problem they can post it.
