The Comics Iron Man suits you'd like to forget.

I think the nose was more a reference point for the artists and the audience so they knew what he was looking at. I've never understood the muscles though, or the subtle facial expressions of the face plate.

The nose was actually supposed to be intimidating.

Yeah.. people see a nose and start running. Wait, what? That was really their idea..?

Could be. Way back in the early to mid-90's, Marvel issued a monthly Preview book (similar to the one they have now, only it wasn't married to Diamond's Previews) & every month they had a section which they called "Marvel's Silliest Moments". It covered such debacles as the Thing becoming a pirate, Galactus trying to eat Impossible Man's planet, &, of course, the Iron Man nose.
Oddly, though, I think the 90's as a whole qualifies as one of Marvel's silliest moments.

here's another awful suit..

I'm still looking for some Iron Man nose pics.. I know I have 'em somewhere

Found them.. I knew I had them

Man that's creepy. And something I noticed--most IRON MAN covers sucked back in the day

I hated that 90s wire muscle thing they had on necks and crap like that.

I know the discussion about Hulk-Buster armor on the other page was talked about, but this image

That is a SLICK looking Hulkbuster suit, yeah its not a comic version, a videogame one, but if they decide to bring that into the films, i wouldn't mind.

It's more tolerable than the other models I've seen.

I'm not sure if that mask makes him look "special" or like a surprised Manga thing!?
