yes it is,i did a lot of my older art on an older monitor once i got a flat screen i noticed how bright and over exposed some of my work was

I have a black Dell flat screen monitor, that I like got with my PC, and I've found it to work quite effectively and efficently for my purposes. I haven't seen where the color of the monitor makes a totally seriously major difference. I think the LCD pixels are the same on either white or black flat screen monitors.
