Is anybody really annoyed of "Scrubs"?

... i like scrubs, i dont care what anybody says...

^I don't hate anyone who watches scrubs. Thats absurd. There was a few times where I found the show funny. But that can't outweigh it's extremely annoying parts, that of course being 99% of the show. Like I said when I titles this thread, I don't hate scrubs. I'm just annoyed by it. But to each his own.

I hate the moral at the end that is so obvious and condecending

But they've had a moral at the end of every episode since they started.

It's not like they started off with having a satirical moral and then a few seasons later start having a serious moral, like South Park.

I sometimes like the show, and can watch it.

But sometimes it really annoys me.

I can't stand Dr. Cox and his endless rants. I just want the characters to walk away in the beginning of his rants and end them quickly. I mute them when he starts them, when I watch the show.
I also can't stand when a character, like Cox, is completely horrible to another character. Making them feel like totally useless waists of space, all to teach them at the end of the episode a lesson.

Tha Janitor is getting old too, him doing stuff that would, and should, land him in prison for life, and totally getting away with them.

But sometimes its good.

When has he ever done something worthy of life in prison?

Dr. Cox (and the Janitor, I guess) is the only character that doesn't annoy the bejesus out of me. After the first couple of seasons, Braff just made his character sillier and more unrealistic, and the other actors are no exception. They're inconsistent and often just annoying.

However, I highly recommend the first few seasons before Braff turned into a human cartoon.

Seasons 1-3 are Scrubs at its best, IMO.

Coincidence?

I love the show. I think it's balance between comedy and drama (while still effectively getting a message across) is what makes it so great. The Turk/JD relationship is the funniest dynamic on the show for me. The Janitor is just too much of a "character" for me. The same almost applies to Cox for the most part of any episode.

NBC just made a ridiculous strong comeback though out of no where, starting with their comedy block. I love 30 Rock.

the show has its funny moments. but i don't find the show all that annoying.

I love Scrubs. I'd even go as far as saying that it is better than 95% of the television comedies today.

I'll watch it when I'm bored. The writers cannot mix comedy and emotion too well. The comedy always comes off as a childish and the emotion level is almost always sky high. Plus, on a lesser note, the sound effects (Not in the sense of trash cans banging or anything, but the "music" used to tell the feel of a scene or the "swipe" used for flashbacks.) irk me.

I like it. I can see why some people would find it annoying and smug. I think you have to watch it from the beginning to become "immune" to it. The first 3 seasons were the best, the 4th was alright; after that it became more of a drama than a comedy.

I don't mind the back and forth between comedy and somewhat depressing drama. I don't see it as inconsistency. I see it as variety. And at least they never have "very special episodes."

I mind it. If I wanted bad, medical drama, I'd watch ER.

i just started watching this show when it premiered on comedy central and now i freakin love it Sara Chalke is soooo hot and Dr Cox is freakin hilarious but im just getting pissed that all the channels that play reruns only play a select few episodes ive seen like every episode that theyve played on CC at least 3 times and i hardly ever am able to find reruns that i havent seen

Amen. 30 Rock is hilarious.

Because every episode is the equivalent of a "very special episode" of most other sitcoms.

I have a friend who is obsessed with this show, and told me to check it out. So I caught an episode on Comedy Central and thought it was pretty funny. In the coming weeks I caught a few more episodes and so on. I've maybe seen 5 or 6 episodes of Scrubs and all of a sudden I found it extremely annoying. Their jokes are really cheap, something a 3rd grader can come up with, and I honestly want to KILL Zack Braff. He sounds like Kermit the Frog or at least someone doing a bad impersonation of Kermit. There's no straight man (comedy wise), they're all smug little b*stards. Everyone says this is the funniest show on television. That's just sad. Anyone somewhat agree?

I like the show and I have to argee with you. There are times I want to strangle the characters and hate how the same problms keep coming up earlier seasons.

Just like my South Park reruns, I'm constantly watching Scrubs. The humor is hit or miss at times but it's a fun show for what it is and we've all been through the things that the characters have.
