Couldn't find a thread for this, so here it is. :woot:

Scrubs is an American medical comedy-drama television series created by Bill Lawrence that aired from October 2, 2001 to March 17, 2010 on NBC and later ABC. The series follows the lives of employees at the fictional Sacred Heart teaching hospital. The title is a play on surgical scrubs and a term for a low-ranking person because at the beginning of the series, most of the main characters were medical interns.

So, anybody like this show?

I liked this show very much back in the days, but IMO there is no point for this reboot.

I guess Donald Faison and Zach Braff got tired of doing T-Mobile commercials.

Shouldn't this be a revival and not a reboot? Since they're probably going to bring the original cast members back for this?

I kind of feel the same way, honestly. In the very least, I hope the writing is closer to how it was during the first 5 Seasons.

First thing I imagined when I saw the title:

Hal Jordan - Zach Braff ( John Michael "J.D." Dorian
John Stewart - Donald Faison (Christopher Turk
Arisia- Sarah Chalke (Elliot Reid
Katma Tui (or Jessica Cruz- Judy Reyes ( Carla Espinosa
Guy Gardner - John C. McGinley ( Perry Cox

Edit:
or
Superman - Zach Braff ( John Michael "J.D." Dorian
John Stewart - Donald Faison (Christopher Turk
Canary - Sarah Chalke (Elliot Reid
Hawk Girl- Judy Reyes ( Carla Espinosa
Batman - John C. McGinley ( Perry Cox
J'onn J'onzz- Neil Flynn ( the "Janitor" :oldrazz:

So I guess the Janitor will be back since he only left because JD left!

Also moving toward a pilot order is the Scrubs reboot. Proving to be a very complex TV project to put together between series creator Bill Lawrence’s obligations under his exclusive overall deal with Warner Bros TV to securing the cast, dealmaking has been stretching on for months. Locked in so far are Lawrence as developer and executive producer (but not full-time showrunner) and star Zach Braff, who will reprise his role as John “J.D.” Dorian. Negotiations with the rest of the key original cast members are said to be wrapping up, which would pave the way for the project to finally get a pilot green light.

I’ll be curious to see if this is intended to be a one-time engagement or if they might go a number of years like The Conners.

Guess it depends on viewership.

Why is this called a reboot when the main cast almost completely returns?
I dont really get it or the need for this to begin with.
Didnt they have a Spin off or so that was meant as a "sequel" that really didnt take off?
Im very confused.

Also, they tore down the hospital where they used to shoot the show, I think, so I don’t know what they're going to do about that.

If it does insane numbers like the Rosenane reboot premiere's 18 million viewers, I could see it sticking around for awhile.

Then again, what show is able to generate numbers like that anymore?
