Is anyone going through Spidey withdrawal?

I guess this may happen for Spider-man fanatics like myself,but does anyone else feel kinda depressed about the fact that Spider-man 3 has come and gone? Despite how you felt about the movie itself,it's like,for over a year now(or even longer)we've all been counting the days untill the film was released. And every little clip or new pic we got made us wishing May 4th was here even sooner. The anticipation was building. Now,the film has been out for over a month and will probably be out for only a another month or two. As much as I loved Spidey 3,I'm kinda disappointed about Venom/Brock's lack of screen time. And I did feel a little let down by how many people didn't like the movie(although the majority loved it).
I've also noticed that most of the Spider-man books,food items;etc are all being pulled from store shelves to make room for other films. I felt this way after the first two films as well. Now we have to wait untill,what,2009-10 for Spidey 4? Plus,I'm wondering if Raimi,Maguire and Dunst will all be back. It's really a very uncertain future for us Spidey fans,as far as the future of the franchise is concerned.

Although we all have the DVD and score to look forward to later this year.

im starting to feel....depressed after all the build up and excitement of sm3 all faded.....my fav move of all time now...but depresses me...ehhhhh

I definitly feel this. I used to faithfully visit the Sm3 spoilers forum every hour and now I barelly check it once/ twice a day. It like well why should I still visit when nothings new and we talked about all the stuff after. I know this will happen with Transformers too but it a weird feeling to have attachment and excitement to a movie.

BOB!!! Man that was such a great night. I had lots to do the next day early in the mourning but I really didn't care. It was great with me going to acting class then nearly standing in the middle of the street trying to get internet signal for the teaser. I watched the mess out of that teaser.

That was sooo fun. And the sleep deprived thread that was the place to talk about almost anything. It shortly died becuase of school and before the movie dropped. I miss BOB night and the hype

I forgot about that! That seems so amazing that the first ever trailer came out almost a whole year before the film. When did they start shooting,January 2006?

I remember alot of moments like that. Like when we would first get news of a new poster or trailer,then the boards were alive and people were all on the edge of their seats just waiting for news! lol Of course,I've never forget the excitement of going to the first midnight showing of the movie. People were dressed as Spider-man and such. There was even a huge paper mache Venom in the movie theatre's lobby! God,that was fun!

Well even if I started posting myself for only 2-3 months, I followed SM3 developpment here with you. I remembered last year when I came from a trip in Hungary with friends, the first thing I did when I got back home was to come and check what happened, and I saw that first teaser poster of Black Spidey...it was cool.

But what I liked a lot was seeing all of you analyzing EVERY bit of information that came out "look some sand on that picture..." and I don't forget the "what's in the eye" moment, some have seen Venom, others the green goblin...it was funny.

But what I found funny right now is reading back from page 1 the official Venom thread with all those old theories and compare them to what we saw in the theaters.

Ok now I might going to a VERY dangerous ground, but it's just my opinion, I don't judge anybody ok? so, when I saw this thread, I have to say that I don't understand why some feel depressed, it's just a movie. Ok I understand, we all followed Spidey's 3 development, so maybe some of you have grown more attached to this movie or the bounds discussing about it may have forged between you (or maybe I'm just overanalysing), but it's just a movie, and by the way, we all know Spidey 4 is coming so arguing about what we see in Spidey's eye will probably be something that will be discussed in the near future lol. And there's still the Spidey comics to discuss about. But as I said, I'm not flaming nobody, I respect the way you feel it wasn't any criticism, it's just something I don't understand.

meh, the best thin about spidey 3 was the intial teaser, the comic con trailer and the leaked trailer shown just after the first one.

the actual film itself didn't live up to the hype it showed.

my point is these element of the fourth film will be out before you know it.

Oh yeah, I feel it too. Although I only joined this month, I have been following the hype since the black suit teaser poster was revealed on Feb 24, 2006. SM3 hype was my life XD.
