Is Gamefly Any Good?

I went to blockbuster the other day to do there keep games as long as you want for 14.99 deal. Turns out they aren't doing that anymore. So I was wondering if Game Fly is up to snuff?

I would think so,first compare between your local game renting outlet..and check Gamefly's terms and conditions..make your decision from that.

My friend has it, and loves it. All i can say as far as it. Never used it. I tend to buy my games. If a game looks bad, i dont buy it. Looks good, ill buy it, plain and simple.

I can't talk from much experience as I just signed up a week or so ago. I only added The Darkness and BioShock about 3 days (Thursday) before BioShock actually came out, and they still shipped both games on Monday. Granted they didn't arrive until Thursday, but so far I am really liking it. The fact that sold me on GameFly over GottaPlay is that once you rent a new game and decide you want to buy it you can click on "Keep It" and buy the game from them. They will also ship the original case and manual for whatever game you get. Right now I can keep BioShock for $49.99 if I wanted to. Add to that the fact that most games you rent from them have a section for walkthroughs, cheats, etc. and I really can't complain. I may try GottaPlay to see if they are faster, but for all the features I get right now I think it's great.

Dang! I didn't know they had all that sh**! I just wanted to get it, because I really don't have the money to keep with the next gen prices, but I still want to play some of the games.

I've had it for about a month now. So far it has been solid. I've rented The Darkness, Oblivion, Rockstar Table Tennis, and the new Stuntman.

They shipped me Stuntman on Monday and it was here by Thursday. Only compliant I have is the wait for high profile games such as Bioshock. Still it's understandable.

I'm most def sticking with this for now.

I just got it today. I love how cheap the games are that you can purchase if you like them. Crackdown is only like 30.00 bucks! Anyway I hope it turns out to be good. I have a goal to beat every single game on this system. Never done it before. Could be interestingly stressful.

My friend has it and loves it. I never signed up, I tend to run really hot and cold with games, I'll play a game for a couple days when I first buy it, then get distracted and not play it for a number of months which is the only reason I don't sign up. Right after I bought Bioshock I had a bunch of stuff to do and didn't even start playing it until about a month after I bought. That plus knowing playing games on X-Box Live really improves the life of a game. Thought about using it for a while, but all the new games I want like Rainbow Six 2, GTA4 and Ninja Gaiden 2 will all have lifespans of longer than 3 months and keeping the games that long, I might as well just buy them.
