I'm surprised SHH isn't doing anything.

Actually, I remember reading some very vague and ominous threats from mods about today. So... I'll see you guys on April 2nd, when it's all passed.

who says we haven't? :ninja:

What was it, 2 or 3 years Hoff paid a visit?

But yeah I am not expecting much to happen.

maybe we should just use this thread to list sites that have done something

so far i've only seen deviant art has changed all avatars to twilight teams

Google changed their name to Topeka.

If you've got an DeviantArt account check out your avatar. Mine's Edward from Twilight.:barf:

There is some rickrolling going on a couple of the sister sites of Failblog.

Toonzone.net's forums is being spammed with April Fools threads.

Newsarama has a front page claiming it as an "attack site" today.

That's not an April Fool's joke. It really is being blocked because it has been identified as an attack site. It could be that their site was hacked or a bunch of internet users reported the site, but it's not something that Newsarama did themselves. Why would they prevent (or greatly discourage) access to their own site? It doesn't make business sense. If anything they'd want to pull some kind of stunt that attracted more people. My guess is that Newsarama has been hacked and infected with a virus, it's happened before. And if that's the case, I wouldn't call it a "joke." More like a "Denial of Service Attack."

The Dark Lord Potter forums are now Dark Lord Cullen :P

Suppose that's why there's no news today when you click to go past the warning. My McAfee site adviser didn't go nuts like it usually does when stuff like that happens, so I assumed it was okay.
