..that Brainiac was made into an android because of a lawsuit from a toy company that used the name Brainiac for some toy computer?

I know wikipedia is unreliable because users can edit the articles and put anything they want and if the article isn't frequented it can all go unnoticed. But I read on wikipedia the Brainiac computer wasn't created till the late 60s, while Brainiac the comic character was created in the late 50s.

I've seen that in a couple of other sources, and I know they had to mention the toy computer as a footnote during a couple of Brainiac stories, so I'm pretty sure it's true.
