I saw the box set in HMV the other day for £30, I have all the original 4 on VHS, I was just wondering if you think its worth getting for all the extra's and the fact its DVD of course.

Absolutely. There is some very interesting things on the bonus features. The Cinematic Saga is a must see. Lots of features on there and well worth the money.

Yes, it's worth every penny. Even the Batman & Robin extras are great.

I heard theres abit in B&R were he just says, "Sorry for this movie" and admits its horrible, or something along those lines.

He said anyone that loved Batman Forever, but were disappointed after Batman & Robin than he is sorry for that.

I see, I think he must of known it was an awful film though, he claims to be a fan of the comics though...

he apologizes to people if they didn't like it, but still stands by his decisions and final product

The anthology is definitely worth purchasing.

Ok. First check what box set it is. If you're in the UK the only box sets released are simple vanilla DVDs collected, and not the special editions. Secondly, I've just checked the HMV site, and the SEs are available individually for £4.99 each (£20 in total) so it's cheaper that way. :yay:

Oh, and of course I recommend them!

Yeah UK Batman SE sell separately HMV has good prices on DVDs, Games and Music.

Well id only get the first 3, so that would work out at £15, thats not bad actually, thanks for the heads up, ill consider this ;)

No problem, £4.99 is rediculously cheap for a relatively new Special Edition DVD, they are definitely worth it three times over (which is what I originally paid... :whatever: )
:yay:

actually the B&R bonus disc is very interesting, its the documentary of making the worsy possible movie they possibly could. I actually find the B&R special features disc hillarious and it runs like a saturday night live skit.. Its so bad its great. They even admit in one part that for half the movie arnold isnt even playing mr. freeze, lmfao they got some stunt double with a bald head to play him and arney just did the voices later on. He even admits that he "Loves the bat nipples, and people that dont like them need to get out more". LMFAO. In the commentary, Joel continues his gay parade by saying such statements like "2 Men in rubber, hangin in a cave" at random moments. Lmao, the B&R disc is worth the extra money trust me.

Everything else is very intertaining, particuarly the 89 dvd, that one has loads of special features. Youll find it is all worth the money, trust me. I dont regret buying them.

I love how Joel said Arnie would sit in his trailer while the makeup was being applied, and he'd be smoking a big cigar and telling jokes to the crew. It so easy to picture that happening. Aylehgh! A Fweeze eez comingz!

£20 isnt that much i guess, next time i go to HMV, ill prob but 89, just buy a different one each time i go. Does anyone know if the MOTP DVD have good extra's?

I doubt we will see just a MOTP one but i could imagine a box set with all the animated films in, SE's of course.

If your an avid Batman collector, its definetly a must have...unless you despise Forever and B&R so much you cant stand to have them in your posession. lol

How many deleted scenes are theyre in B89 and BR? And are they any good?

They show a few from 89, Batman saves a little girl and an extended police conference. If I remember there are none from Batman Returns

Yes, here in Brazil this happened as well. The box set didn't have the extras, so we have to pick them separately.
I purchased all of them today! I already had the BB SE DVD but not the four previous films yet.
I've just watched the extras of BF and it's really nice!

It is really worth getting that. :yay::up:

I bought Batman 89 SE DVD today, im gonna watch it tonight, btw it was £10 not £5 :(
