America gets a 3-disc trilogy box set (the basic movies, no extras)

The UK gets a 6-disc trilogy (the double disc of each movie)

The fans have them, but not casual movie-goers who only started at the third movie. That's an assumption they can make because it made the most at the box office, but perhaps had fewer repeat viewings for some die-hard fans._BB_ said:Whats the point, we already have X1, X1.5, X2 lol, why waste money on a trilogy set when after we buy X3 we will have the whole lot anyway?

I'm probably just going to rent the Oct. 3 release and then wait for them to release the double disc edition in North America before I buy.

Nell2ThaIzzay said:Okay, so I finally got my question answered. We got our DVD's in at my work today.
The trilogy box set is what I feared, just the single disc versions of the films in their original packaging, all packaged together.
I knew we were getting the single disc versions, I was just hoping it'd be something nice like the X-Men / X2 Collector's Set, where there was new, original artwork for the entire series, and a small booklet covering all the characters in the franchise and such.
Instead, it sucks balls and I'll just be buying the Collector's Edition of The Last Stand.

Ghetto... but I bet they'll make a 6-disc foldout edition when they come out with the two-disc dvd in North America.
