iTunes help?

Hey, guys. I use a laptop for everything that I need, except my iTunes are on my old Windows XP computer. So basically the only time I use that computer is when I need to get new songs/videos and update my iPod itself. However, that computer is now virtually unusable, due to viruses, spyware, and the fact that it's just worn down. I have the iTunes program downloaded to my laptop, but it's just an empty library.

Can anyone tell me how I can transfer my 4,000+ songs/videos to this laptop? I know I have a username and password as an iTunes member. Is there some way I can enter that into the iTunes on my laptop and it will have my library saved or something? Or is there a way to hook my iPod up and transfer the songs from there?

If anyone can help me with this, that would be great. Thanks a lot.

The first thing that comes to my mind is just using an iPod ripping program to transfer the songs from your pod to your new laptop.

Check out the free trial of this iPod ripping program; seems pretty decent and should do what you need done.
