iTunes Is Stupid Sometimes

"You might add Coldplay to that list"?! What the hell is that supposed to mean?!?! Do you not think he's a good enough artist in his own right that he doesn't need to be compared to more popular bands? Are you trying to imply that he's ripping off Coldplay? Do you think your audience would be too dumb to express interest if he didn't sound like someone they already liked?!?!? Stupid iTunes.

(note: I'm not saying this to defend the artist, the song's ok but not great. I just thought that was a really stupid thing to put in the description.)

Whether that comment is good or bad depends on the describer's opinion of Coldplay. If he or she has good music sense, then they probably meant it as a denigrate.

Yeah, I'm don't particularly like this guy OR Coldplay, it just seems like kind of an insult to the artist that they have to compare him to other people in his description, for what reason? I mean, it's not even like people would wanna figure out whether they'll like it or not before they pay for it, it's FREE.
