When the movie director is credited on the poster for a movie that is a decade old or more, I start to worry about what the movie will be like.
To be fair, aside from Green Lantern, which being so CGI-dependent was obviously not a good fit for him, he's only directed one movie since then, and Edge of Darkness wasn't even a bad movie. It just didn't make a splash. So it's not like they're covering up a string of duds like they do with, say, Antoine Fuqua or David Ayer when they still use Training Day as the go-to credit for both. Martin Campbell's a good director, particularly when it comes to stunt-heavy films, imo. When the movie director is credited on the poster for a movie that is a decade old or more, I start to worry about what the movie will be like.
