Comedy Liam Neeson Firing Up ‘The Naked Gun’ Reboot for Paramount

What’s really sad is that up until now, Tommy Lee was the high point. :o
If rumors are true, there's apparently something else that Tommy Lee and Liam Neeson have in common. :o

If Together wasn't coming out this same weekend, I'd see this opening weekend. So maybe in the following week, I'll check it out.

I've been rewatching the trailer and the "Take a chair" joke continues to make me laugh.

Omg I wasn’t expecting this much humor from this film. I took my dad who’s a fan of the original trilogy and both of us including a packed theater audience were laughing our collective ass off. So many jokes both Liam and Pamela were hilarious in their respective roles. Great tribute to Leslie Nielsen and the original trilogy. Highly recommend you watch this ASAP!!!!

Seeing this movie on Sunday. Naked Gun is one of my favorite comedies, they don't do humor like that anymore so I was skeptical of this movie but people seem to be loving this.

Naked Gun is going to devour Galactus and out-punk Superman!

gonna see this later today looking forward to it no lie I think Liam is gonna kill it as Frank Jr :funny:

Is Weird Al in this?
yes he has 2 cameos a small one in the movie and a larger post credit one

it was so good I loved that they even retained the funny text in the end credits not as funny as the old ones but still well done and they did a funny homage to the ending of the old Police Squad TV show if you know, you know :funny:

As someone who hasn't seen the originals but my friend wanted to check it out, I had a good time with it. I actually had more fun with it than he did I think. Probably blasphemous but I'm not a fan of airplane, so I was expecting similar humor and such but this was pretty fun. Obviously not every joke lands and it does lose some steam towards the end but fun nonetheless.

Other than the BIG three superhero films this year and Final Destination: Bloodlines this was some of the most fun I've had with a film all summer and definitely the most I've laughed during a film in a very long time.

The Snowman bit and Pamela Anderson on the stage during the club scene had me rolling and I loved all the random references to Janet Jackson, Black Eyed Peas and Buffy lol.

7.5/10

I thought it was great and one of the funnier comedies I've seen in recent years! Loved how much care was put into it. There's a lot of "blink and you'll miss it" gags in the background as well as a lot of silly play on words-jokes that we get a lot in the original trilogy.

Just saw it and got a free AMC movie poster. Funny ongoing gags, good slapstick & play on words. It was a galactic, world devouring event. Aching for a OG marathon
