James Cameron's Robotech(what if)

It's been too long since I've screwed with the heads of countless net nerds. Since the Transformers movie, doomed to be the expensive suckfest of 2007, is just around the corner and all these other 80's cartoon properties are ready to be violated by hack filmmakers all for the sake of nostalgia, I thought of putting a "what if" that is less likely to suck than others. James Cameron doing a live-action version of Robotech. It's more than do-able and, for all we know, that's the sort of super secret project he's working on as we speak. Maybe, all this "Avatar" crap is just a smoke screen for the man's real work. I mean, let's face it, Cameron is more on top of his game when he's filming badass machines flying, morphing, shooting at one another, etc. To hell with the aquatic fantasy horse s***, I want robot planes, dammit!!
