That's exactly it - he's not ideal but he's about the closest to the Kingpin that we can get.

That was the reason for his casting then and it's pretty much the same situation now.

To be fair, you could cast someone smaller and bulk him up a la Juggernaut and Blob. Considering Kingpin could wear clothes most of the time this probably wouldn't be a huge issue.

It is not just Clarke's sheer size... he has the total frame (height, massive kneck, large cranium... and very strong voice... smooth demeanor, believeable physical anatagonist as well as master mind). He is an imposing fella. I like him for KP.

His actioners are actually pretty good for what they are. He does those roles very well, actually, and his fight scenes are a notch above most. He's completely wrong for Matt Murdock, though. But, he's got quite a bit of juice in Hollywood and Miller cheerleading for him and he's really, really wanting to do this DD reboot, so he might pull it off. The thought of Statham pretending to be blind kind of makes me cringe to be honest, though.

Just need a good script and good director, Statham is a good actor that needs to brush his American accent.

I like the Directors cut of Daredevil, in fact I think it's one of the best superhero movies that's ever been made. Every time I let someone who hasn't seen it watch, they always say that was very good, why didn't they release that version to the theaters?

Most people don't like the version released to theaters, but they like the Directors cut.

I think some of you are selling Jason short, we already know he would be bad _ _ _ as Daredevil, it's being Matt Murdock where he could really empress and be good. I'm all for it.
