Jeremy Irons as Alfred

Since we know Jeremy Irons is confirmed to reprise his role as Alfred Pennyworth confidante, trusted friend and butler of Bruce Wayne/Batman I wonder what kind of role Jeremy will have this time around in Justice League?

Considering Jeremy Irons' appearance in BvS he actually had a bigger role as Alfred so it begs the question of what he does here in Justice League

Reporters mentioned him using guns on the Flying Fox in concept art. I hope they changed their minds about it, as I don't want nor need to see Alfred in the heat of a battle.
