Mystery/Thriller Jeremy Saulnier's Rebel Ridge on Netflix

Can't jump to conclusions. Hope John is ok.

Feel for Saulnier, though.

About time Jeremy Saulnier made another movie. Looks good.

“Blue Lives Matter” Twitter is about to be frothing at the mouth.

Damn, I wonder why Boyega left the way he did. Sounds kinda insane.

Interesting take on First Blood. The performances are great. I wasn't familiar with the lead actor until watching this but I can't wait to see what he does next. 8/10.

I expected more action from this, but otherwise it was a really good movie.
Netflix has done too little to promote this, but im glad it gets appreciated.
Its a really good movie.

A fun watchable rural small-town thriller. IMHO it runs a bit long and it's a bit flabby at times, but overall good. Don Johnson was a good villain. AnnaSophia Robb was also good.

I'm not sure I understood that one cop who turned out to be "Serpico" when we see him actively taking part in pretty heinous and corrupt acts in the opening act. His turn was surprising yet but also doesn't make much sense. He was the one who ran down Terry originally as well.

We don't see James Cromwell in a whole lot these days so I was pleasantly surprised to see him show up here, even in a small role.

The character only fully turns "good" once he's shot by Don Johnson and even then he's leveraging the situation so he comes out on top. Even the other "good" cop sides with the other corrupt cops and only "helps" when it's clear Don Johnson is going down.

This was really good. A LITTLE slow in the middle, and i wished we got a LITTLE more action but i also get that the lack of action was directly the point of the story. This was a character who was actively avoiding violence. But throughout the movie you SO BADLY wanna see him kick ass.

This Aaron Pierre dude has screen presence for days. Mark my words he’s gonna get snatched up by Marvel or DC in the next 12 months. Hes born to play a superhero.

I mean he starts trying to help and de-escalate *BEFORE* he gets shot.

Maybe he will play John Stewart.
