Mystery/Thriller Jeremy Saulnier's Rebel Ridge on Netflix

I don't buy Boyega as intimidating. It's as simple as that.

Well he was a bit intimidating as the delinquent kid at the beginning of Attack the Block. But in this type of role, I just don't see it. Terry's like this living weapon and martial arts instructor for the Marines. I'm not sure I could've bought Boyega in this role.

I actually COULD see Boyega in this movie. Dont get me wrong, Aaron Pierre OWNED this and so happy it was him, but Boyega has been taking on roles lately where he's a lot more intense. I highly recommend watching Breaking, Boyega was incredible in that and very intense.

Awesome. Definitely one of the best streaming movies out there and it’s easy to see why it was a star making role for Pierre. I feel like Boyega would have done well in the role too but it’s hard to imagine anyone but Pierre as that character after seeing it. Can’t wait to see him as John Stewart. This film felt like it could have been a John Stewart prequel before he gets the ring.
