USA thriller about a woman who commits a random bout of violence and has no idea why. The show focuses on her attempt along with a detective (Bill Pullman) to determine why and to uncover her deadly past.

Her film career has been so meh, I'm kind of surprised it's taken this long for her to take on a regular TV gig again. When was it she cut and ran from 7th Heaven? Early 2000s?

Something like that. I like her but the sound of this series sounds kind of meh.

Carrie Coon Joins ‘The Sinner’ Season 2

Carrie Coon has been cast in the second season of USA’s “The Sinner.”

Coon is set to play Vera, described as a formidable, mysterious woman who struggles between upholding the ideals of the community she leads and fulfilling her own desires. The casting marks Coon’s return to television after critically adored turns in HBO’s “The Leftovers” and season three of FX’s “Fargo.”

Joining her in the season two cast for “The Sinner” are Natalie Paul and Hannah Gross. Paul will play Heather, a detective in training. Gross will play Marin, Heather’s best friend from high school.

I binged season 1 in one evening. Episode 7 is INCREDIBLE.

It's not in the same league as something like Sharp Objects but it's very entertaining,

Started season 1,its good but it feels like its trying too hard to be True Detective.

I thought Bill Pullman was SO BAD in season one. He looked like he was constantly on the verge of laughter and I found it very distracting. Biel was good though. I didn't bother with the second season because I don't think I could take anymore of Pullman.

Yeah, Pullman's performance is strange, half of the time he sounds drunk.

I found season 3 to be the best, really interesting concept explored.
