Fox gives a script commitment to series based on John Grishams The Partner
John Grishams novel The Partner has gotten a script commitment with penalty at Fox, according to
Deadline. The best-selling legal drama was published in 1997 and was Grishams eighth novel.
The Partner comes to us from writer Jon Cowan (
Suits,
Private Practice), Davis Entertainment and Sony Pictures TV Studios. Cowan will also executive produce with Davis Entertainments John Davis and John Fox with Grishams rep David Gernert.
