Wow, that's looks cool! I think I'll get one for Halloween. I wonder if anyone has tried it out?

I bought it a few weeks back just for the wig. It's decent for the price. The wig is actually quite good. The make up is meh. The scars I got in the kit are WAY better then that. They're flesh colored and pretty much screen accurate. I'd recommend it.

I wouldnt use that, Ill stick with my regular theatrical makeup and collodion.

i might have to give a shot for the scars alone.

Could you take a picture of those scars?

I'll post some pics of the scars when I get home. I'm not going to put them on though.

Rubie's brand white makeup is the worst you can get, although it's worth it for the rest of the stuff.
I use Rubie's tube red and black as part of my joker makeup and it's fine though. it's mostly the white that's crappy.
I'd really like to see the wig and the improved scars though :3

What kind of white makeup should we get? And where can we find it?

To be honest, I got the best results from similar quality stuff, but I used two different whites. The base was a liquid white labelled simply "makeup" That cracked when it dried and I just used Rubie's white "base makeup" greasepaint over top to even out the colour.
This is the result I got:

I forget where I got the random white, but I bought the rubies at value village (a thrift store). You can get it anywhere, really. I think if you bought this kit, it would be smart to pick up the white greasepaint as well to go over top, since the liquid is REALLY streaky. This could definitely improve the quality of the liquid white.
Here's what I mean by the base paint: http://www.costumeandpropshop.com/detail/RB-18169.html

The get the smoothest white though, I'd use Mehron or Ben Nye makeup, since it's theatre/professional quality. This stuff is a bit more difficult to find. Mostly found in shops specializing in halloween/theatre stuff :/

Also: I think that the kit is worth buying for the wig, it's definitely not bad at all.

Can someone post a picture of the wig that comes in this kit?

Thank you...I appreciate it!

i'm definitely buying that kit if i see it in my travels today.

If someone buys this on this board, can you post pictures of the wig?
I can't believe it looks that good for something inside such a small pouch and prince.

Ok, wasn't sure if that was the wig that came in the package or not. What is the material like? Will it easily fall off your head or will it stay on well?

For the money, it's nice. It fits snug on your head and looks pretty darn good. I know costumers who bought professional wigs for $40-60 while doing their Joker costume and this $12 wig looked better. It's great if you don't have long enough hair.

awesome picshopefully i can get the makeup kit
