Why-oh-why can we not get a proper kit in the proper scale of this vehicle? !!!!!
The 1/35 scale next to all the others in 1/25 looks pretty lame....
I'm building my own Tumbler from scratch, I'm thinking of casting it up in resin and selling kits for all of us who are still wanting.........jeeezzzzzzzzz........

did this need it's own topic aside from your post in the batpod model thread?

No-If one happen to stumble across the post while persuing Bat-pod related posts...
Yes-If the collected modeling public wanted to lobby the model industry for a plastic kit...
Maybe-If in the future, this post was read by someone from oh, I don't know, say Revell/Monogram and wanted to guage interest or even myself if I were to produce a resin kit.

You do know that's illegal, don't you?

uh what are you the fanboy police?

and if he makes it in small enough numbers it is considered art and not subject to copywrite infringment.

and besides, who cares? you gonna rat him out?

jesus:whatever:

Lighten up. Just giving the guy a headsup.
And the law is, it doen't matter how few he makes, and even if he gives them away, it's still illegal.
Who cares? I would think at the very least WB cares. It's their property.
Just because you can , doesn't mean you should.

Yep, my custom BR Joker, (made months before HT made theirs), was pulled from ebay by WB and I only made one!

Not sorry, it absolutely is true. Whether you like it or not that IS the law. That's what the word copyright means. Only the holder has the absolute right to make or authorize copies of their IP. It doesn't matter how many or how few you intend to produce, or how you intend to distribute, whether at a cost or for free. You can't do it without their permission. Period. About the only time they won't go after you is if you do it for yourself and no-one else. Those are the facts.
