First post and first time I'm considering buying one of these..... I'm really not into comics or the old Batman movies but these last 2 have me hooked. TDK was awesome and the Joker is kick........

My problem is I can't decide which of the Hot Toys to get.... I love the original Joker (V1) in the purple outfit but my favorite scene or photo from the movie is when the Joker has his back to us standing on the curb holding the bag and clown mask...

Decisions... Decisions.... I guess I'll think about it till the next payday in 2 weeks

I grabbed a V1 joker and a bank robber, putting the slick back hair head on the bank and the original onto my V1.
I love them both, never seen a figure that looks so cool.

god the dc direct figure just doesnt even come close to being on par with the hot toys figure

Come on guys, I admit the DCD version isnt as good as the HT one, but considering its about 1/3 the price of the HT one, it's not a horrible figure. I like it fine.
Still I do plan on getting the HT one at some point along with the BRJ and Batman, (Two-Face, maybe) they're just too good to pass up.

I love the DC Direct Joker! I bought him recently, and I'm so impressed with him I've not taken him out of the pack. Something I hadn't noticed before...that Hot Toys Joker, I really don't like the head. He looks like an ancient wrinkled Joker. I don't really like it. Now the Bank Robbery Joker...that's nice.

My guess is that is probably one of those "to good to be true prices"..... The cheapest I've seen them is right around $160. A few on ebay have closed between $145 and $155.

I just got them both for $175 each shipped......

I pre-ordered mine from Discount Comic Book Service in September for $114 plus shipping. However, back in January they sent me an e-mail saying that the figure was back-ordered & that they wouldn't be able to ship it to me until the "second quarter of 2009". While the delay is irritating, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt, since they look like a reputable site & I don't believe that my credit card has been charged yet.

You could always e-mail the site & ask why your order has been delayed. They may have temporarily run out of stock like DCBS.

That TDK batman figure looks amazing here, would you mind posting a few more pictures of him? In almost every shot I've seen of it previously the pants look too gray/rubbery and doesn't match the upper suit but this looks just fine

Im finally getting V1 Joker form Urbancollector... Got him for the price of 109 I cant beat that... I cant wait to have him... Im going to use him for the scene where Jokers in jail with the glass shard in hand. I already repainted my Bank Robber head to look like that scene... With the DX Joker coming soon... That makes 5 Jokers in my collection including DC Direct...

Well, I wouldn't say the sculpt sucks, per se, It's just woefully innacurate.
