Has WB, since the rise of the DCEU ever conducted their casting in secret like that? What I mean is, when they cast a big character it seems like they always announce it. Every time we get some unspecified casting, they end up playing no one in particular. Chris Meloni, Scoot McNairy, Jena Malone.

Maybe there's someone I missed, but I can't recall a case where they cast a big character and there wasn't something in the trades or some sorta press release.
