Didn’t they use to say The Flash was the best script they had ever seen? Lmao but let’s just wait and see. I know times are different now but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

I’m curious what Gunn meant by “grounded sci-fi”. As in, it has to stick to science? Or grounded to earth like Men in Black? What do you think?

Yea but thats Zaslav and Gunn somewhat(I hope he has better curation of scripts with DCU

Ezra Miller was one of the worst casting decisions by Snyder. Nothing like Barry Allen... I don't mind The Flash movie, but I never connected to their portrayal of Barry at all. It was just... not good...

Hopefully that version of The Flash stays locked up with Clooney's Batman... forever.

I've seen some say Miller will pop up in Peacemaker and... please God no lol.

Anyways, Lanterns... Some things I heat get me legitimately excited and others... just going to have to wait and see.

Look before he went nuts I liked Ezra Miller and I thought his Barry was alright based on how they had changed the character but I think even using Flashpoint at all and shoehorning him into BvS to force JL was just odd on its face and obviously fell flat almost immediately. They should have used an older actor to be Barry if that was the route they wanted to go with and they should have set up his time travel shenanigans from the Darkseid Timeline over many films. Then let him have a solo film that isn't a Crisis level event as the lead up to the big crossover...maybe having the end credits scene being him accidentally time travelling to the future and seeing what happens or having Future Barry show up and start the path that way. Its like none of these people ever read a full storyline in comics they just read the first and last issue none of the build up to the story or anything that happened before the conclusion.

Hopefully, when they do Barry again, he is someone who looks old enough to be a forensic scientist/cop and has been in action for a while like the Justice Gang.

Do you think if this really takes off they can try a movie again? Or even a game?

Game I could see...honestly I think GL would work better as a series than a film but you never know.

I think TV is a good spot for GL for the moment, but building up to a movie seems to be the smart thing to do... I want to see an all out space-opera for GL one day.

I just need a good GL adaptation. My hope is that this will follow in the footsteps of Daredevil. Poor movie adaptation that finds its footing on TV.

He really spent over a decade dragging Green Lantern under the mud lol.

I've read some John Stewart solo comics. "Green Lantern: Mosaic" and the much newer comic "Green Lantern: War Journal" and I enjoyed both of them. War Journal had a clunky ending. I think it got canceled a little prematurely.

I am enjoying Kyle Rayner is back in hos classic attire in the new "Green Lantern Corps" comics!

It's crazy the lack of Kyle merch (shirts) I was looking for some and only can find one or two...
